Quantity
Received – Print Label
Once the user enters the quantity
the system automatically generates
barcode labels for the item. In this system example the quantity of barcode labels printed equals the quantity
entered as received.
In many installations
the system is designed to also prompt the user for the quantity of labels needed
for that receipt.
One item received causes the system to print one label. If the system was designed to prompt for the quantity of labels the system would generate that many labels. For example, if 50 items on a pallet are received, the user may select to print 4 labels (one for each side of the pallet, or 50 if each box needed to be labeled.
